I was so honored that one of my friends asked me to take some photos of her brand new, 6-day old little Emmy. This is my first time photographing a newborn (other than Rex, but those don't count because I didn't love photography then like I do now). Little Emmy did not like being naked and it took some work but her mommy got her to sleep and that's when the fun started! I hope you like them!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! Thanks so much for taking them for us - even though Emmy had some issues with sleeping. I can't wait to see more!
These look SOOOOO good! This makes me so excited for our little runt and makes me forget about the stress of having a newborn for like .2 seconds. I'm on the hunt for cute bows, baskets, etc.

Yay, I found your blog! First - Emmy is beautiful - well done Cathy. And second, I had no idea you were so into photography, Emily. These look great!!! We should chat and use big photographical-technical words sometime :)
